The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has officially announced that the Higher Secondary (HS) results will be declared on May 14 at 10:30 AM. The announcement will be made through a press conference at Vidyasagar Bhavan, after which students will be able to check their results online from 11 AM and collect mark sheets from their respective schools.
The results are expected to be published shortly after the Madhyamik results, once the ongoing Assembly election process concludes. With vote counting scheduled for May 4 and government formation likely within the same week, the education authorities have aligned the result publication timeline accordingly to avoid administrative overlap.
According to the Council, the HS examinations this year were conducted from February 12 to February 27 under a newly introduced semester system. The results are being published within 78 days, reflecting adherence to the evaluation schedule despite concerns over delays due to election duties assigned to teachers and their involvement in other administrative work.
This year saw a total of 710,811 candidates appearing across multiple formats, including final semester, supplementary, and old annual system exams, conducted across 2,103 centers. Despite initial uncertainty, the evaluation process was completed on time, ensuring that students will receive their results as scheduled without further delay.
